You were made to learn from a young age the 10 commandments
Trying to govern your attitudes and guide your thoughts
Stories, points of view, you can't limit your life

I see it as very natural if it's true that it's a
Sentimental matter, the thrill of the matter began
In the earthly paradise

Thou shalt not steal

People die of hunger, they have nothing to eat
The church enriches itself by selling us the same
Old story that Christ will return
And in the meantime, a family has a couple of stomachs to satisfy

Thou shalt not kill

They kidnapped your child, hurt your loved ones
Justice out of habit did nothing, your unleashed fury
You find yourself face to face with the criminal
What goes through your mind, frankly, I doubt your peace
And harmony, I think it's better if we move on to another story

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's wife

Apparently we were made in your image and your likeness
Contradictory, it's not bad to appreciate a beautiful body
It's a reminder, the same body hair that supposedly
Was of your invention, remember that Adam and Eve

Thou shalt love God above all things

Firstly, I don't really know if God exists
If so, we would probably live in a happier
And less sad world, less hunger, less war, you would come to visit us
When tragedies happen on earth, you would be an impartial being

Through feelings, bringing peace to the world
Through your thoughts

Honour your father and your mother

To have a child, you need responsibility
It's much more than just fertility, who is more of a father
The one who begets or the one who educates, the one who raises
The one who is there for your life day by day, the one who was
By your mother's side during her teenage pregnancy, not the one
Who denied you, hid, and never wanted to see you

Thou shalt not bear false witness

The church has partly been to blame for creating
A world full of prejudices, holy evils
Forcing people to have two faces, two personalities
Sometimes they have to pretend to fulfill their holy
Wills full of primitive, absurd concepts
Like prohibiting contraceptives

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor's goods

A homeless person walks, imagines what it would be like to have a little
To many, they have more than enough, just a minimum, just a minimum, daydreaming
About the basics, just to be able to survive, even the desires
Of a hungry being, you think of repressing

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain

Skeptic, unbeliever, better to be a fanatic, I reject
Your erratic knowledge, I don't know what's worse
To doubt in order to later believe or to use your image
Just to sell or enrich pedophile priests
And extortionists of a believing people, living off the back
Of your name, lying to the people

Remember the Sabbath day
