Um Rei Chamado Jesus

Who was
That passed through this world
And preached the truth
Planted the seed of happiness
And prayed for us even on the cross
Who was
That gave us with life
The path to heaven
His sacrifice tore the veil
That separated us from God's presence

He didn't need TV or radio or newspaper
But in the show of this life, he is the main
He won over crowds with the power of love
Even tired and wounded, he never blasphemed
He was a defendant without sin, smiled and forgave
For a world without direction, he showed the way

Who is
That will come back from heaven
And everyone will see his light
He is the king called Jesus

Touch me in my heart
With your wounded hand on the cross
In the dark moments of life
Illuminate me with your light
Make of me, of my heart
An altar that pulses and shines
So that I have the strength of love
That is the Lord, my Jesus
