No Sabemos Nada
B.Rock
We Know Nothing
I don't know why I lose you every time I make a mistake
I don't know how to be sane if I remember I'm crazy
I don't know why you're ice and slowly freeze me
I don't know why I'm fire and burn you when I touch you
I don't know what the ground tastes like without your early morning sun
I don't know what the sky smells like without your reflected moon
I don't know how to put a price on you, I don't know if you're worth anything
I don't know if your silences speak more than your looks
I don't know if I promised or broke what I promised
I don't know if I wove the threads of your dress
I don't know if I felt you or just dreamed of you
I don't know if I lost you or if I never had you
I don't know if you're distant
I don't know if you're absent
I don't know if it was enough to give you what you needed
I don't know what's more cowardly
I don't know what's braver
To love you in an instant or forget you slowly
You don't know my wound without knowing how it hurts
You don't know what life is until you don't know you're dying
You don't know how I am, you don't know how you are
You don't know how it hurts not knowing what you want
You don't know why you endure the darkness I endure
You don't know if my blankets still sing your cries
You don't know the poison of the verse I sing to you
I may miss you but you don't know how much
You don't know if you're moving away, you don't know if I'm moving away
You don't know what your reflection reflects in this mirror
You don't know if you're leaving me, you don't know if I'm leaving you
You don't know I'm close no matter how far you are
You don't know I destroy my soul to be strong
You don't know my pride prevents me from seeing you again
You don't know I would sell my life to death itself
And buy it back to meet you again
They don't know about resentment, they don't know about mercy
They don't know about love those who don't suffer your absence
Those photos don't know that remind me of your forgetfulness
Those unknown faces don't know about us
They don't know the wounded from our war nights
They don't know about our flowers, farmers of the earth
They don't know the thermometers of your cold arrogance
They don't know the kilometers of love in the distance
Those eyes don't know, those tongues don't know
The red sky doesn't know the moon that doesn't wane
Those voices don't know the story we tell each other
The clocks don't know the time we loved each other
Those crosses don't know about faith and madness
Those lights don't know about making love in the dark
Benedetti, Machado, and Pablo Neruda don't know
For not having you by my side, seeing your naked poetry
