Bom Samaritano
Bruna Neckel
Good Samaritan
From Jerusalem to Jericho
I was going down so alone
Suddenly they surprised me
Terrible evildoers, without love and affection
They took everything I had from me and beat me without compassion
Leaving me half dead on the floor
Anyone who could help me passed me by
Levites and priests did not even look
They didn't even extend their hand to me
But when I was about to die
I couldn't even realize it, a hero arrived and healed my heart
I am a gentle balm on the wounds of a human being who is almost lifeless
Beaten, despised and thrown to the ground
But he was filled with great compassion
He stopped to help me without worrying
With what I had or if I could even afford it
Friendly traveler cared about me
My salvation was him passing by there
Come by, good samaritan
Come and dry the tears of those who are crying
Come by, good samaritan
Heal the wounds of those who are crying out
Heal the wounds of those who are crying out
