La tartaruga

The Turtle
The pretty turtle, what will she eat?
Who knows, who knows?
Two leaves of lettuce, then she'll take a break.
Ah ah ah ah ah ah
The turtle once was
an animal that ran headfirst down.
Like a torpedo, she zipped away,
like a train on the railway.
But then there was an accident,
a wall stopped her.
She broke a few teeth, and then she slowed down.
From then on, the turtle
lets us do the running.
Because that day, just a bit further,
going slow, she found happiness.
A forest of carrots, a sea of ice cream,
that she never noticed while running too fast.
And a blonde armored turtle,
who she married a month ago.
The pretty turtle goes to the sea because
but why, but why?
She swims and then dries off since Noah's time.
Eh eh eh eh eh eh
The turtle, slow as she is,
grabs luck on the fly when it’s there.
Behind a leaf along the way,
she found happiness right there.
A salad field, a lake of frittata,
guitar spaghetti to spend the evening.
A forest of carrots, a sea of ice cream,
that she never noticed while running too fast.
And a blonde armored turtle,
who she married a month ago.
