Por si las moscas
Buena Fe
Just in case
For better or for worse, they continue to call us
for reasons of origin.
Who doesn't love us
prays that some daring verse
be coined as perverse
or that someone who decides doesn't digest.
With such a cheap analysis,
knowing that anyone shines for a while,
when all the sparkle is over,
I didn't get a house or a little car,
mixing commitment
with bicarbonate.
The social controversy and its excesses,
may anger not turn us into fools.
Neither better nor worse than others,
with no more glory than still having each other,
we remain healthy in friendship
escaping the epidemic of nonsense.
Without showbiz, nor pineapples, nor intentions,
to hang on to movements.
Time bursts us with songs,
workers of good feelings.
...just in case.
Foreigners more than one have already arrived,
wanting to market our sweats,
but their math forgets
that we gave pre-Columbian history
and we are not up for Indian games
and conquerors.
Grateful for those who accompany
soul cleansing, with or without a wallet,
and value us for hours of company,
of hope or comfort,
regardless of miles or flight hours.
This mess spreads by word of mouth,
it's the price of living,
on this side of the blockade.
Neither better nor worse than others,
with no more glory than still having each other,
we remain healthy in friendship
turning tears into joy.
We went from looking like foreigners
to confirming as nationals
To clarify any doubts, this verse goes:
peasants, serious and heterosexuals.
