Esmeraldas y Billetes
By Mila
Emeralds and Bills
If I tangle you around my fingers, how many knots will you sew?
I wither between your lips so that you can heal
I keep myself among the kisses, those that you will deny
And I lock myself in my tower, waiting for your call
And even though you're stealing me from pieces
I'll stick the remaining ones to be by your side
And even if the tears have not dried
And so it burns that you haven't noticed
I'm wearing this dress again
Let's see if today I deserve a compliment
And like a dropper, I'm emptying myself
And your potion is running out, you are running out
And I hope that tomorrow it rains emeralds and banknotes
May there be an eclipse in the sky that you stare at
I hope that tomorrow water will mix with oil
Or tell me in my ear that just like me, you too
You love me too
Like the priest who forgot how to pray
Like the dreamer who never learned to fly
Tragic as lovers who do not know how to love
Like sinners who will not pay
I also lost my silhouette
By drawing me as one of them
Pretending to be your apprentice
To match your hue
And I only have a few pieces left
I'll paste the remaining ones and you won't be able to take them
And even though you have drawn yourself on my canvas
The chalk is erased, it is hidden
May my amulets remain with you
They are of no value to you and you are going to lose them
That is my punishment for having believed
That I was worth more if you were with me
And I hope that tomorrow it rains emeralds and banknotes
May there be an eclipse in the sky that you stare at
I hope that tomorrow water will mix with oil
I don't care if you regret anything
And I hope that tomorrow there will be torrential rains
And if the Moon comes out, there is no Sun to disguise it
May tomorrow the water be water but never oil
Or that you hear me from afar telling you that you are no longer
You don't hurt me anymore, you don't hurt me anymore, you don't hurt me anymore
And I know you want and can't have me
