Dulce Tormento
Cabarule Frule
Sweet Torment
Once again on the edge, sweet storm of booze,
I kiss the floor of your hell.
Drunken nights of sad illusions for a poor heart
That bleeds out from within.
Let’s steal time’s clock away
And party with death in this sea of pain.
Fear, hunger, and disappointment; brawls, sticks, death, and rock
Piercing through my thoughts.
The makeup tricks you, doesn’t let you think,
Forget about the mirror.
It’s time to spit in the silence
And whip the enemy at this, our funeral.
Let’s steal the breeze from the wind
And party with death in this sea of pain.
I’ve seen you fall a hundred times, lifted you a thousand;
I was the grave for your dead.
The sky fell on me and I can’t bear this cross anymore;
In my hell, I wait for you
To suck the blood from the crows
And get drunk together in this sea of liquor,
Sweet torment of pain.
