La Carta de Raquel

To write a letter, you need paper,
And courage to do things, like Raquel did

From Bernardo I don't expect any response
I only ask you, my love, to accompany me to the cemetery

I'm going to take my life, you already know the reason,
That despite your perfidy, I forgive your betrayal

Before the Virgin we swore, kneeling at the altar
To adore each other until death, without fail

I fulfilled my oaths, yours amounted to nothing,
