La Rosita

In a garden along the way, I found a rose
For its divine scent, I fell in love with it

By the roadside, I gave my whole soul
It was all my affection, it was all my desire

Crazy for her affection and love, for that woman
I swear, like a child, I cried for her love

To her little country house, one afternoon I approached
Because I loved her so much, but I didn't find her anymore

Since then I live in sadness, and that pain kills me
