Los Contrabandistas

On the 22nd of May, in the year 73
They engaged in gunfire, bandits against the law

The road to Laredo, always well guarded,
But with smuggling, they pass in the early morning

The smugglers were coming, from Galeana
They were heading to Houston, Texas, with a load of marijuana,

When they passed the customs, the federal followed them,
But instead of stopping, they started shooting
