Nothing of what was will be new
The way it used to be one day
Everything passes,
Everything will always pass
Life comes in waves like a sea
In an infinite ebb and flow

Everything that is seen is not
The same as what we saw a second ago
Everything changes all the time in the world
There's no use in running away, or lying to oneself
Now, there's so much life out there
Here inside always
Like a wave in the sea
