Whoever believed
In love, in smiles, and in flowers
Then dreamed, dreamed
And lost their peace
Love, smiles, and flowers
Change way too fast
Whoever in their heart
Harbored the sadness of seeing
All of this slip away
And in loneliness
Sought the path and moved on
Already doubting a happy day
Whoever cried, cried
So much that their tears have dried up
Whoever later returned
To love, to smiles, and to flowers
Then found everything again
For the very pain
Revealed the path to love
And the sadness ended
