A cheerful little path with moonlight or sunlight
Stretched out like a ribbon with its sides of red
Red of the geraniums and blushing smiles
Red of the carnations and the blooming cheeks
Perfumed with magnolia sprinkled with morning dew
The little path smiles when your skin caresses it
And the poplar tree laughs and the window shakes
When your fine print strolls down that path

A star that would smile under a hat
Would not smile more beautifully

In your walk the sidewalk shines as you walk
It takes you to the hallways and the enchanted courtyards
It takes you to the small squares and the dreamed loves
A little path that lulls with embroidered taffeta
Heel of silk shoe and starched ruffles
