Arboles Frutales

I am surrounded
by thousands of fruit trees
mangos, tangerines,
plums, pineapples, and avocados.
I will die of starvation
because I don't want to move
I will be lying in the sun.
I am surrounded
by rivers and springs
the flowing water
is clearer
than diamonds.
I can't stand this thirst
my skin dehydrates
and life passes me by
I will die.
I am surrounded
by animals that speak to me
they sing with plumages
of emerald colors.
And I don't want to listen to them
What do they think, that I'm happy?
if I am the
poorest man in the country.

by women so beautiful
brunettes, tall, blondes,
black, redheads.
I never lost company
and now that I find myself here
