She was the gift of a May sixth day
They say when she was born it was midnight on the clock
She prepared for the university entrance exam, on Mondays she went to French, on Thursdays to a ballet school
And since she was a child they said she was destined for medicine

One summer night they found her lifeless
Her body lying in the yard, like an empty doll
Embracing the cold ground
Shed like a flower in winter

They said it was destiny and that's what God wanted
That bad company whispered a neighbor
And her parents repeated that she was just a girl

But among the books they found a handwritten letter
A letter that said the grade wasn't enough to get into medicine
