You are disoriented, and you don't know
which trolley to take
to keep going,
and in this mismatch with faith
you want to cross the sea
and you can't.
The spider you saved stung you,
what will you do,
and the man you helped did you wrong,
just go on,
and the whole carnival, shouting, trampled
the fraternal hand that God gave you.

What a mismatch!
Even God is distant,
you cry inside,
it's all a tale, all vile,
in a carnival against the flow,
a groupie tricked Jesus,
don't trust even your brother,
they hang you on the cross.

You wanted with tenderness
and love devoured you
from behind to the kidney,
they laughed at your embrace
and right there
they sank you with resentment
the whole harpoon.

Bitter mismatch
because you see it's the other way around
you believed in honesty
and morality, what foolishness!,
that's why in your mortal
failure to live,
not even the final shot
goes your way.
