Father, in Your hands I entrust my spirit

I have become the reproach of the enemy
The scorn and mockery of neighbors
And an object of dread to friends
Those who see me in the street flee from me
Hearts have forgotten me like the dead
And I have become like a broken vessel

And declare that only You are my God!
I entrust my destiny into Your hands
Deliver me from the enemy and the oppressor!
