Let the sky and the triumphant angels exult
Messengers of God descend singing
Let the resplendent trumpets sound
Announcing the victory of a King

Let the friendly earth also rejoice
Which shines amidst so many lights
And seeing the ancient darkness dissipate
Shines and warms itself at the sound of the eternal King

Let the mother Church also rejoice equally
Raising the candles of this new fire
And suddenly hear echoing
The Hallelujah sung by the people

The Lord be with you
He is in our midst!
Hearts on high
Our heart is in God!
Let us give thanks to the Lord our God
It is our duty and our salvation!

Yes, truly it is good and just
To sing to the Father with all our heart
And to celebrate His Son Jesus Christ
Who became the new Adam for us

It was He who paid the other's guilt
When He gave Himself up for us in death
To pay the ancient debt
He shed all His blood on the cross

You led the children of Israel
