Suddenly I see a man of tall stature
A ruthless warrior
Who mocked Israel
Saying: Who is the man who can face me?
Kill me, throw me to the ground, and win this war?
All Israel feared, the warriors retreated
The Philistine army, all of them mocked us
That's when someone said: A warrior has stepped forward
And will fight Goliath!

Then when I saw entering the battlefield
A boy all red-haired, he had no armor
Nor sword or shield
He only carried a sling, a stone, and his faith
He was a bit far and I couldn't believe
What I had seen, such a frail boy
So small and unarmed
I said to my companion: Now we're finished!

He pulls out his sling, takes just one stone
Throws it towards the giant and hits him in the forehead

God used a boy
