When the edict was immediately signed
Daniel entered the rooms of his quarters
And prayed
The men saw Daniel kneeling
Praying and thanking his beloved God
As he did day by day to the Lord
The king orders: Throw Daniel into the den
And, with sadness, ordered the door to be closed
And with his ring, the stone over the den
Thus he sealed it (thus he sealed it)
They thought it was the end of Daniel
But they forgot about the great God who is faithful
Who does not forget any of His children
And while they rejoiced in their hearts
Thinking they had all been champions
God Himself closed the mouths of the lions
Then the king shouts
Daniel (Daniel)
Servant of the Most High God (uh)
Did the God whom you serve make you continue to live?
Then he answers
Live forever, my King
My God closed the mouths of the lions and I, unharmed, escaped

Who serves the God of heaven
Is protected by Him
Persecutions
Signed decree
Does not make a believer run away
From what he was called to
The Lord allows
You to be in danger
But if God is there in the den
You're protected and guaranteed

You belong to God and whoever belongs to God
No one touches, no one harms any of His children
They may try to throw you into the den
Threaten you, end your story
They won't be able to stop you, detain you
Because the one who protects you has all power
Calm your heart
And you can sleep peacefully
