Quietude
Canção & Louvor
Quietude
The stillness of the silence in my heart
So many words want to spark an explosion
They want to shout, let it out, they want to speak, they want to say
Jesus, I need You
But the anguish I feel keeps trying to silence me
The purpose of this silence is to suffocate me
But a groan from a whisper I can still express
Jesus, only You can help me
Then I remember that the Spirit is my intercessor
And He knows how to interpret my pain
And besides all that, He’s my friend
And so, my muffled groan gains a voice
And little by little, I start to say what hurts me
And that’s when I hear the voice of my friend
Why do you cry, and then suffer so much?
If I’m your help, I can solve everything
From your present, I already know the future
And the paths I thought of are higher than yours
I’ve already told you that you can go through troubles
But I’ll be with you, holding your hand
It’s just a valley, but the mountain is there
And the best is yet to come, for I am your provision
In the stillness, I am working
So rest, soon everything will change
It’s just a valley, but the mountain is there
And the best is yet to come, for I am your provision
It’s just a valley, but the mountain is there
And the best is yet to come, for I am your provision
