Jesus wakes up, as He was sleeping at the stern of the boat
For His human body was tired
But His soul as God never sleeps
He gets up, calms the wind and the fury of the sea
The wind has no ears, nor does the sea
But when Jesus speaks they have to listen
If it was I who called you to cross the sea
You will not die in the middle of the great sea
Even if a great storm arises
That covers your boat, you will not die
I formed you, I created the sea
And this vehement wind blowing is Me
I may be sleeping at the stern of your boat
