Mañana Será Otro Dia
Canserbero
Tomorrow Will Be Another Day
Sitting at night on a bench
Smoking a cigarette
With a revolver in my pocket, crying with resentment
Perhaps because of the loneliness that accompanied me
Only interrupted by a father drowning in alcohol
I looked
At the ground while pulling out the gun and aiming at the knot
That was choking my neck
And when I thought of nothing else
I heard the voice of a man approaching and commenting
He wore dark glasses and a cane to guide him
He asked for fire and then sat where I was
Discreetly, I put the gun away again
I wiped my forehead and played along with that blind man
He talked about the stars
About nature and the moon
He said there are beautiful things he appreciates better now
That he can't see due to an incurable cancer
Like the naked skin of your partner in your arms
Like helping your child and seeing their first steps
Like seeing the horizon of the sea
Or simply appreciating the parade of a sunset
That's when I listened to what he was saying
I felt so cowardly at that moment!
Because that man lacked what I had
Yet, he appreciated every second of breath
When you feel life ignores you
Cry, but value it while you smile
Someone said it won't always rain
Instead, tomorrow will always be another day
With new achievements and new falls
With new wounds caused and received
We've all felt resentment towards life
But if it's taken from us, we'll hate death immediately
Indecision is part of being human
We fight for goals that, when achieved, don't satisfy us
We say: Everything is bad!
And when we're old
We complain and talk about the good old years
If the reflection in your mirror doesn't make you happy
Or you think luck has stopped smiling at you
Why suffer? When you can hear the best music
(Which is) the sound of your heart beating
When you feel life ignores you
Cry, but value it while you smile
Someone said it won't always rain
Instead, tomorrow will always be another day
Afromak, Afromak
Crying days (in the instrumental)
It's Canserbero (the indigo)
No more, no less
Tomorrow will be another day
