No Justice

No Justice
There is no justice and I want to know where the peace is
Foolish people are killing while you're sitting by doing nothing
Forget about the money, put the gun down
And don't mess this up
Let's do something
How unfair it is to hear lies while being true
Or to die first for having less money
How unfair it is that I can eat whenever I want
Knowing that people are dying of hunger all over the world
If everyone lives as if they weren't going to die
And instead of a future, they seek to have fun
Injustice drives me crazy, causing suffering
But still, I don't ignore the news before sleeping
I'm tired of seeing people suffering in the present
Due to latent problems, due to an unconscious past
How unfair is death when it strikes head-on
And only the one who remains suffers, the one who dies will go forever
Unfair to see people dying in hospitals
From fatal diseases or victims of guns
It's unfair to see girls lost in drugs
Or in that same hospital, dead because someone violated them
Single mothers who strive for a better future
Only asking that death doesn't punish them and they continue
When they conceive and the smell of abortion haunts them
Because they can't even provide a decent roof for their kids
Some live daily and coexist with mercenaries
And in the neighborhood, hitmen continue living off crime
Some have no idea of what's happening here
And others describe what they know or have seen in movies
Raise your fist, you
There is no justice and I want to know where the peace is
Foolish people are killing while you're sitting by doing nothing
Forget about the money, put the gun down
And don't mess this up
Let's do something
I'm daydreaming
Searching for the meaning of this
Why wake up when I'm sleeping
If while sleeping I think and
Dream that the world is perfect
But when I wake up, I see it was just a dream
I'm just the owner of this notebook
And a piece of hell
Where there are hungry, tender children asking
Or maybe we are the dead
And those who no longer breathe live
Even happily as they're not suffering
Yes, I don't understand why Lady Justice doesn't tighten the bandage
And correct the mess that this jungle has become
I would give eternal life to Robin Hood
So he could steal health
From those who don't deserve it
And give it to those who don't have it
Yeah, cut my tongue off if anyone claims I'm lying
I threw the first stone and have never been suffering
Denying that innocents are dying
And police are abusing
Meanwhile, the government is laughing
Peeking through the roof at night, yesterday I talked to God
I asked why the injustice and he didn't answer
Why you gave so much to a few
And gave little to many others
And the guy played dumb and left me there talking to myself
How unfair it is to waste your life in monotony
While AIDS patients would pay for more days
How unfair it is to see so many poets on the corner
With rhymes and talent better than those at the top
Turning pages, as quickly as that, gravestones disappear
Insignificant points we are in the vastness
I speak today, maybe tomorrow you won't remember
But my regret could make a drop of sea stand out
There is no justice and I want to know where the peace is
Foolish people are killing while you're sitting by doing nothing
Forget about the money, put the gun down
And don't mess this up
Let's do something
