Angels arise proclaiming
Peace on Earth, and to God, praise
Their hymns go echoing
In the surrounding mountains

The shepherds go joyfully
To see the celestial Infant
And add their praises
To the angelic praise

A rude manger was given to Him
But from heaven comes His praise
He is the beloved Savior
Well deserves our love
