Necessidade

I believe, Lord, in the divine promise,
I have already had victories in the battles here.
However, it is very certain that we stumble;
Therefore, Lord, I need you.

The light that guides me on the dark path
Shines from above the creator sun;
However, I cannot follow it alone;
That's why I need you, my Lord.

Listen, O God, to my prayer
And come deliver me from vile sin.
Renew this poor heart!
Amen, Lord!
