Firm on the Rock
What foundation do you have to build
A firm house to withstand
The great storm that will come
And the unstable house will fall?
Our dwelling is on the Rock;
Firm and secure it will stay;
When the storm comes against it
It will withstand all its power.
Just as sand in the foundation,
Our works are in salvation,
For someone who only believes in himself
In the Lord Jesus still lacks faith.
Christians, however, who truly believe,
Show by their works the faith they have;
Their faith anchored in the Savior,
In the greatest storm, here they are without fear!
