O Peregrino

I am a pilgrim,
Of the road I know little;
And they say that dangers
I will always find,
Squeezes and troubles,
Hard for me;
But I want to walk with Christ
Until the end of life.

The joys and sorrows
That I can experience here
To my dear Master
I will soon tell.
Jesus will give comfort,
And take care of me.
If I go in Him confident
Until the end of life.

With Him, evils will never
Be able to overcome me;
With Him, nor dangers
Will I need to fear;
And even when the night
I face, in the end,
Beyond death, the glory
I will find, finally.
