Lost I walked in the darkness,
But Christ found me,
And with the light of His love
He dispelled the darkness.

In case the sky darkens
With clouds all over,
Jesus, blessed Savior,
Is the light that tears the veil!

I am walking in God's light,
What sweet communion!
I continue always with vigor,
Leaving the vain world.

There, face to face, then I will see
Jesus, the Savior,
Who gave His life
For me, a vile sinner.

I joyfully go in His light,
For Jesus now leads me.
Since He found me
He delivered me from death;
I walk always joyful,
Christ saved me!
