As Boas-novas

People of God, fulfill your task
To proclaim the love of our God!
For He, compassionate, does not desire
The perdition of the poor sinner.

Announce the good news!
That God loves us, proclaim joyfully!

Oh, behold the thousands who perish
Trapped in the clutches of sin and evil,
With no one, in pity, to show them
Christ Jesus, the real Liberator!

Do not allow the souls for which Jesus suffered
To remain lost;
Be careful that no one is lost
By neglecting His command!

Spread among nations and tribes
That our God is the God of eternal love;
That He left infinite glories
To save the sinful world.

Oh, consecrate your goods and children
To spread the holy light of Christ!
With constant, fervent prayers,
Support the cause of Jesus!

Here He comes! But before His coming
Proclaim His grace and love!
May all the redeemed be ready
To acclaim Him: Christ! Redeemer!
