Contar a Jesus

To Jesus Christ I will tell everything
That troubles my heart;
My worries, my sufferings,
Only He can soothe them.

To Jesus Christ, my Beloved,
I will always narrate my affliction;
To my worries, to my torments,
Only He can provide a solution.

To Jesus Christ I will tell everything;
He is a firm and loyal Friend.
Just ask Him, and without delay,
He brings a complete end to my sorrows.

Always tempted, I know I need
A protector who can help;
Only my Beloved, who is invincible,
Can therefore protect me.

The wicked wish me harm on this path,
To divert and discourage me;
But Jesus Christ, strong and zealous,
Always helps me to stay firm.
