Banqueteras
Carin Leon
Banqueters
Some banqueters
To disconnect for a while and forget about my sorrows
An old chat with all my buddies and the old school
For those who have gone
And for those of us still here, still giving war
What more can I ask for? If I have my family
And a warm plate to eat, waiting for me on the table
Life is to be enjoyed here, they say it's not to take away
Right now we are, tomorrow who knows, the present is what we have
I don't have time to be negative about life
Today I thank my God for giving me one more day
Preferably, I want to uncover with those who are always there
Who, when you're up, only get close because there's
I prefer to have more fingers on my hand when it's time to count
Without mentioning names, they are few, but their loyalty is worth gold
Here it doesn't apply that someone is worth more for what they have
Because when you're in the hole, the only weight you'll carry
Just what the skin weighs and stop counting
