Cuando La Vida Sea Trago
Carin Leon
When Life is a Drink
I'm the one who gave gray hairs to mom
The one who always dreamed of having money
And from an early age
I always had that ambition
I am the headache of mothers-in-law
In the family, I'm the black sheep
As a kid, I always caused problems and worry
Rude but I had manners
I only went to school for the pretty girl in the class
There was one who let me down, since then I'm a bastard
Just because mommy taught me to apologize
And let the one I offended forgive me for being a womanizer
Since I was a kid, I liked to party
That's how I am, I don't deny it
And the one who has the right to judge me
I see them later in the cemetery
Meanwhile, when life is a drink
I take it seriously
I didn't come to be an example to follow, I am who I am
Mom wanted a good man and got a bad boy
Don't try to change me, I'm fine as I am
It hurts them because I don't please them
No one has come to straighten me out
One leaves and thirteen write to me
Behaving well is not in my interests
I hit and run, you'll thank me later
I'm pretty crazy and they're right about that
I can love many, I have a big heart
I appreciate the intention, but I have no solution
And just because mommy taught me to apologize
And let the one I offended forgive me for being a womanizer
Since I was a kid, I liked to party
That's how I am, I don't deny it
And the one who has the right to judge me
I see them later in the cemetery
Meanwhile, when life is a drink
I take it seriously
