Muriéndome de amor
Carlos Bahr
Dying of Love
Your lips can overpower my sanity
and the temptation tortures me,
just by imagining you kissing me
I burn with an intense fever of love.
My life is a flame that ignites
with the breath of a gust of passion.
And a longing that leaves no room for thought,
a tormented yearning, pulls me in its whirlwind.
There's always something in you that provokes me.
And there's always something in me that ignites my passion.
And in between us, the wild fury
that sparks the fire in our mouths.
A thousand times I've tried to rebel,
denying this blind temptation,
but I have a heart, and I'm made of flesh.
And seeing you next to me, I kiss you again,
dying of love.
This anxiety I feel while I wait
for every moment of our love scares me.
This feverish feeling overwhelms me
as I ignite without salvation.
What enchantment of love has heated my blood,
what fever inflames my heart
and stirs my irresponsible weakness
in an irrepressible longing that’s stronger than me.
