Little Snot
Defeated, with a bitter soul,
without hope, satiated with life,
the poor payador sobs
in his humble abode,
unable to find solace for his pain.
Hanging on a nail, the guitar...
he has it abandoned in a corner...
He no longer cares
about his friends...
Lying on the bed, he does nothing but cry.
On some occasion
only this song is heard:
"Little Snot,
don't let me die, come back to the parrot,
I can't live without you.
If you knew how many times I've dreamed
that I had you by my side again!
Little Snot,
don't be so cruel, don't abandon me...
I want to see you again...
Little Snot,
don't leave me, your disdain slowly kills me."
The tenement slept peacefully,
nothing disturbed the silence of the night
when a fatal shot was heard
in the darkness.
Anxiously, the neighbors ran
sensing the end of that drama
and they found,
lying on a bed,
in a pool of blood, the poor payador.
But before dying,
someone heard him sing like this:
"Little Snot,
don't let me die, come back to the parrot,
I can't live without you.
If you knew how many times I've dreamed
that I had you by my side again!
Little Snot,
don't be so cruel, don't abandon me...
I want to see you again...
Little Snot,
don't leave me, your disdain slowly kills me."
