No Jardim

In the Garden, Jesus Christ was calling,
When the wicked came to arrest Him;
And speaking to the Father, He pleaded,
For the cup He was about to drink.

With Jesus my desire is to be
In the garden, in constant prayer;
When night falls, and evil surrounds me,
I want to be in constant prayer.

Like dew that gives life to flowers,
So it is for the believer in prayer;
My worries, sorrows, and pains,
Christ knows them through my prayer.

Jesus had complete victory,
Because He always lived in prayer,
Many saints reached glory,
Under the mantle of sweet prayer.

Renewed in strength we will be,
We will have a new anointing;
And with God, in the garden we will speak,
If we live always in prayer.
