God called Moses from the midst of the desert
To take his people out of Egypt
And lead them to the land flowing with milk and honey
As he had promised to their fathers

Ten plagues God sent
Egypt suffered
And the king let the children of Israel go
But in his heart
He soon regretted
And once again pursued
God's people

Here is the sea, Pharaoh is coming behind
God told us to move forward
What will become of us?
And Moses replied
Do not fear because God
Will fight for us
He told me so
