The King of Glory laid aside, His majesty
And sat with sinners, revealing no shine or throne
Who would know that His eyes saw the universe being made?
Who would believe that His scepter already ruled time?

A man so simple, with no place or where to rest
In the stable, it's not the best place to debut
Who would notice that His voice called the world into being?
And those hands, shaped man in His likeness?

Like a silent lamb, He was led to the slaughter
No glory, His heart tore on the cross
He stayed silent, signed for all our guilt
No blemish, on Calvary He did not complain
He was mistreated and humiliated
The Lamb of God, but He was faithful to the end
Who takes the sin of the world
Reveals eternity and His glory in me

But like a Lion, He will roar, and every eye will see Him
