Gli Amori

The Loves
Lit, off and stupid special
Two consonants lost in three vowels
They are the ones that help us not to feel alone
That's why they are important
And we call them loves.
The loves under a big sky
Or closed in a room
The loves in which you lost hope
The loves with your back against the wall
Or when you say: 'God will take care of it'
The loves in which you are not sure
That you don't care about...
But how many loves, what loves
With the courage and the fear of loving each other
Fragile loves that go away
Those in which only you suffer
And others say: 'What do you want it to be'
How many loves, what loves
Loves now burst
That don't know how to stay together
Loves on the brink of madness
Those you find and never leave
Loves in pieces to throw away.
Imagine two lonely worlds
Suspended among the stars, in the middle of the seas
Sometimes they come close so as not to feel alone,
That's why they are great,
And they call them loves.
But how many loves, what loves
With the courage and the fear of loving each other
Fragile loves that go away
Those in which only you suffer
And others say: 'What do you want it to be'
How many loves, what loves
Loves just born with the desire to stay together
Loves on the brink of madness
Those you find and never leave
Loves in pieces to throw away.
The loves are almost all the same
The difference now is up to you...
