Everyday Life
My desire is too deep to speak
And what I think is hard for someone to understand
Life goes on and the days seem the same
Where is the life we always lose while living?
There are children in the streets
There are deserts of pain
There is a hunger in every soul
An intense resentment
So many fears on the corners
a great prison
So many forgotten dreams
an emptiness that lives in the heart
My desire is too deep to expose
And what I think is hard for someone to accept
Life goes on and the days are not so alike
Where is the life we fail to notice?
Where does the truth live?
Where does love live?
Where does freedom live?
Tell me what its taste is
You walk through the streets
without answers in the end
But the faith I have in God
Makes me see what I am, never ran away from me
My desire is too intense to speak
But today I shout and what I believe I will carry
Wherever I go, in the day to day
Every day this great love, I will carry
