Deus de Amor, Nós Te Adoramos

God of love, we adore you in this Sacrament
Body and Blood that you made our nourishment
You are the hidden God, alive and victorious
At your feet we place all our love.

You redeemed my sins under your cross
With your Body and with your Blood, O Lord Jesus!
On our altars, unmatched Victim
You want to renew your divine sacrifice!

At Calvary your divinity was hidden
But here too your humanity is hidden
I believe in both and ask, like the good thief
In your kingdom, eternally, for your salvation!

I believe in you resurrected, more than Saint Thomas
But increase in my soul the power of faith
Guard my hope, grow my love
I believe in You resurrected, my God and Lord!

O Jesus, whom in this life by faith I see
Grant, I beg you, this desire of mine
To see you, finally, face to face, my divine friend
There in heaven, eternally, to be happy with you!
