The king of all
Granted provinces
The right of the apostles
James of Spain
Shines light on morals.

A martyr in Jerusalem
James, distinguished
Is sacred in martyrdom.

Asks for pious help
To the people whose glory
Gives a remarkable way
So that with the frequency of prayers
They sing a melody:
