Carmel flower, our joy

It was there at Carmel that the Virgin appeared
Elijah saw her from the sea in a cloud

In a rain of graces, the Mother showed herself
And all of Carmel rejoiced happily!

Now the little scapular hanging from her hand
Comforts the path of my heart!

All of you who live afflicted and sad
In the Virgin of Carmel, you will find solace!

Brave sailor, do not sink
Invoke Mary, the Star of the sea!
