Autocrítica

Self-Criticism
If you chose to walk the same path as me
I'll tell you
And admit that you'll hear someone say
How crazy
You need to live, so never suffer
I'll pay to see
You reach the end of life like this
The disciple says the only answer is love
Don't get conceited and don't forget
That you'll return to dust
The art of living together happens in smiles and pain
Between what's easy and the narrow door
What seems to have more value
But I feel like this
I'm scared to talk about my God
And I ask here: Let my fears disappear
I tried everything and failed
What I lacked was studying
All the memorized texts
Just in words, they're just paper
I heard catchy phrases and a flaw is being so alike
It's so modern and attractive
That our altar turned into a carnival
But I feel like this
I'm scared to leave what I lived
But I confess
That I no longer accept life's crumbs
Go
The truth sets free those who never get distracted
Trust outside the window
And quickly close it so you don't get enchanted
Go
Let go of everything that still holds you back and keeps you from beauty
That's at the center of this inner castle of life
Go
The truth sets free those who never get distracted
Trust outside the window
And quickly close it so you don't get enchanted
Go
Let go of everything that still holds you back and keeps you from beauty
That's at the center of this inner castle of life
