Sunday Stroll
Beautiful, my Sunday stroll
When I arrive in the town
I bring more than just my presence
A musical fate of someone who's been smuggled around
Well, this horse with a spotted coat
In a braid of wildflowers
With a dappled hide
Carries the roots of the herd in the hands of the trainer
I arrive right in front of the window
Of a well-kept little ranch
Whistling something for her
This simple little song I wrote to please you
Eyes that can steal your heart
In my life so small
From the water lily of a big lagoon
I bring the flower from my hometown for the hair of the brunette
To the ranch, I go singing a tune
But I know I'll be back
Let the week pass quickly
'Cause I left my coat for her to keep
I arrive right in front of the window
Of a well-kept little ranch
Whistling something for her
This simple little song I wrote to please you
Eyes that can steal your heart
In my life so small
From the water lily of a big lagoon
I bring the flower from my hometown for the hair of the brunette
To the ranch, I go singing a tune
But I know I'll be back
Let the week pass quickly
'Cause I left my coat for her to keep
Well, this horse with a spotted coat in a braid of wildflowers
