La Vereda Tropical

I walk along the tropical path
The night full of stillness
With its scent of humidity
In the breeze coming from the sea
You hear the murmur of a song
A song of love and pity

With her, I went night after night to the sea
To kiss her fresh mouth of love
And she swore to love me more and more
Never forgetting that night by the sea
Today, all I have left is to remember
My eyes are dying from crying
And my soul is dying from waiting
