Quando Deus Quer Agir
Cicero Nogueira
When God Wants to Act
When God wants to act, He opens a path in the middle of the sea
He uses a donkey in a way that it can speak
He changes and makes King Ahaz's clock turn backwards
He stops the sun, He holds back the moon, He changes the time
When God wants to act, He makes a king sleep, dream twice
Another lose sleep and read to not see time pass
When God wants to act, it's futile for man to try to stop
It's better to surrender, it's better to be silent and let God act
He makes a vulture become a waiter and bring good food
And as long as it doesn't rain, the prophet won't die of hunger
He decrees fasting in the lion's den and the prophet walks around
While there's a believer in the den, the lion has to fast
When God wants to act, He uses a fox to help
And three hundred of them show up to fight
He uses a small boy who kills a giant
He uses a man with a jawbone and secures victory
When God wants to act, He makes a man walk on water
Makes the wall fall when the trumpet sounds
When God wants to act, it's futile for man to try to stop
It's better to surrender, it's better to be silent and let God act
