That Believer
Are you seeing that believer, my friend?
He has no house to live in, no car to go out
New clothes to wear, good shoes to put on
But talk to him, my friend
Feel what happiness is, for him everything is fine
There's no crisis, no, there isn't, he enjoys peace and freedom
When he has some money left he says: Jesus is good
When everything is missing he says: It's a trial
He keeps fighting and keeps winning!
Whether it's cold or hot, he says: Glory to God
In joy and in affliction he says: Jesus is good
He's brave, he's faithful, his business is with God
And his goal is heaven
Are you seeing that believer, my friend?
He's a bricklayer's helper, he works hard
The job is heavy, but he sings all day long
But talk to him, my friend
Feel what joy is, there's no tiredness that stops him
Going to church is going to a party, that's why he goes every day
Are you seeing that man, my friend?
He's a wealthy farmer, drives an imported car
Farm full of cattle, he's a banker's partner
But talk to him, my friend
Feel the sadness up close, without Jesus there's no money
That translates happiness, it's no use being a banker
There's money left for the believer, He says: Jesus is good
When everything is missing he says: It's a trial
He keeps fighting and keeps winning!
Whether it's cold or hot, he says: Glory to God
In joy and in affliction he says: Jesus is good
He's brave, he's faithful, his business is with God
And his goal is heaven
