The Lord Fights For Us
Difficulties in this life we face
But we do not lose heart, there is a will to win
Overcome the struggle and the pain of obstacles
For His majesty, King Jesus gives us power
We know that He never lost a battle
He promised to be with us, He does not leave us alone
There is no need to despair, Jesus resolves
In His arms He envelops us, the Lord fights for us
The sun stood still when He fought for Joshua
He parted the sea when He fought for Israel
He used David and destroyed the giant
He used Samson and with a jawbone killed a thousand
There is no need to despair, Jesus is good
Wonderful is to hear His voice
In the midst of the battle He does not leave us alone

Many times the believer lacks strength
And feels like Elijah, afraid of Jezebel
Desperate, sits and waits for death
Forgets completely that there is a God in Heaven
